I have 5 different species of dwarf plecos in my tank.
The other day my snowball pleco was lying on a piece of driftwood when another pleco rested right next to him.

I noticed that the snowball flipped upside down and back again. Is this a territory thing?

Not that I know of. Hypancistrids are generally peaceful towards other species.
