Pleco ID | |
PurestDJ Hobbyist Posts: 64 Kudos: 21 Registered: 12-Feb-2006 | I've reccently inherited a Pleco from a friend who shut her tank down after not cleaning it for a year (and the previous owner of the pleco was just as bad)...but I don't know what type it is, I thought it was a Common Pleco but as it's about 5-6 years old and only 20-25cm I wonder if it's a smaller breed? http://www.thinkfish.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4735 Let me know what you think? |

It could also not be done growing just yet; 5-6 years might be old for a tetra, but it for a fish that can live at least 20 years it might continue to grow a bit. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |

If he gets any bigger I'll have to find someone with a bigger tank or take him back to the shop, which would be a shame James |
