PetSmart sold it to me about 18 months ago as a Royal Pleco and I really didn't pay much attention to it, but recently, I was researching some other fish for a river tank I'm setting up and saw saw the profile for a royal pleco. I have to say, what I have definately isn't a royal pleco. I've been through most of the thumbnails of the L* cat-eLog over at PlanetCatfish and haven't come across anything that really looks like him either. That picture is right after I got him at ~3" in my 29gal tank (Jan 2003). He's around 12" now in my 75g tank. |
