 | Pleco..butterfly... |
Rob1619     Fish Addict Posts: 763 Kudos: 619 Votes: 626 Registered: 01-Sep-2004   | I was at a lfs today and there i saw a pleco. I asked the owner and he said it was an ancistrus butterfly pleco.Iam not sure if that is correct. The pleco was not big..5cm,But he said that i can get to 15cm or more.he had long thin body and the tail was longfinned.he has also big side fins just like a butterfly.The price for this pleco is around 30us$. It looks more like this pleco http://www.goc.se/search.asp...it looks more like the one on the 2nd pic. it's scientific name is Lamontichthis filamentosus...it's not that one i saw but its really close.
