	Plecos & Ottos
aquaman18 Enthusiast Posts: 151 Kudos: 125 Votes: 0 Registered: 03-Apr-2003	I have a 10 gallon with 2 ottos and a 55 gallon with a pleco. I have one question. After they eat all of the algae in the tank what should I feed them? I heard they eat zucchini, is that right? Thanks for everyone's suggestions!!!

I like to feed my bristlenose zucchini, he will gobble up a piece of it in one night. Algae wafers help to provide a good bit of all around nutrition, as they have extra ingredients besides just algae. And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

mariosim Enthusiast Posts: 207 Kudos: 245 Votes: 20 Registered: 28-Jul-2004	both fish eat algae, but not exclusively. even with an abundance of algae in your tank, i would still supplement their diets with veggies, pellets, wafers, and such. variety is the spice of life.
