Hi all again

Im planning on getting a school of corys tomorrow, when i remebered that plecos can be a bit aggro towards other bottom feeders.

Will a small BN cause trouble to corys? i know how peaceful they are and im worried of losing any i get.. im use to cichlids

thanks any help

WEll My GrandFather Has 1 Rubber Pleco and a Normal Pleco and has a School of 6 Corys (2 Albino 2 Bronze and 2 That I can't Define) and the corys always seem fine. I've Heard Storys about Large Size Plecos Whip the corys with his tail but never seen it.
The Corys are very hardy and one of my fav. It's a must in every aquaria. have you observed them moving their eyes and eve blinking them?? They are simply beautifull.
So in My Opinion Get A BIG SCHOOL of Corys if you can

I think BNs are one of the more non-aggressive types of plecos. Correct me if I'm wrong.

In any case, I have my motley cory crew living with a BN and he/she never harms them. She's only about half grown and has grown up with the cories. I've seen her butt her way amongst them to get to food, but never seen any aggression at all. This is the second BN I've kept with this group of cories, and neither ever showed aggression towards the motley crew.

Adding a full-grown BN might pose a problem, but the size you normally find in stores should be fine. They'll grow up with the cories and be used to them. *shrugs*

I don't see any problems with BN's & Corydoras. Just remember, that the more Corydoras you have, the merrier your tank will be.

That's what happens in my tank except it's a sailfin that gets the attention of the cories.
I've never seen any sort of aggression from either the plecs or the BNs toward my multitude of cories, in fact I think the cories actually make the BNs and plecs feel much safer with all the bottom movement

Shouldn't be a problem, make sure they each have enough to eat and all should be finejust remember if when feeding them that sometimes even the "other" fishies in the tank like the algae wafers as well
