This can be great news for me or horrible, One of my big corys(bronze) has a bump on its belly, like between its fins, theres another one who might have it also but I can be 100% sure, sorry no pics guys./:'

Corydoras don't get pregnant. Instead, they become plump with eggs... It's easy enough to tell apart from a regular fat cory, because there's more of a bulge than just around the stomach.

How would this be horrible news? It's not like you have to deliver the baby fish yourself.

Well, if your 'bumps' are roundness due to females being ripe, there's one easy way to tell.

Do a 50% water change and a gravel vac, lower the temperature by 2 degrees Celsius, then feed the Corys with some live Bloodworm. If the 'fat' ones start being chased all over the place at speed by slender ones, you have females ready to spawn.

If you see the 'T' position, they're spawning.

Here is a picture of my Pandas in the 'T' position. If you see this, your Corys are spawning.
