The other was just a one off and I know it is bad to walk in and come out with fish you know nothing about but I could not resist. It is a species of Spiny Eel. Ok, I know about Peacock Eels as I have a Half Banded Peacock Eel but it looks so beautiful (the new one that is). It has some circles on the tail, I presume for confusing predators as to which end is the head and tail, and it doesn`t seem to settle down on the gravel, prefers to swim mid-level. It has multiple horizontal lines of different widths and then on the tail, the fins are orange in colour, not bright orange but still, it is obvious to notice the orange. I would just like to know more about excactly what species of Spiny eel it is please. Thanks |
