	Spotted Bullfrog Pleco
gnr4ever8794 Enthusiast Posts: 253 Kudos: 222 Votes: 24 Registered: 12-Apr-2004	Anybody have any information on this fish? Thats all I know is the common name. Saw them today at the pet store. They had a wide mouth, and looked very similiar to a rubberlip pleco, except they were much darker, and light gray patches on them. So anybody know anything about them? How big do they get?

They are in the genus Chaetostoma, and are fair algae eaters. If the ones you saw looked like the one in [link=this]http://planetcatfish.com/catelog/loricari/chaetost/308_1.php" style="COLOR: #808080[/link] link, then it was a spotted bulldog. I hope this helps you out. And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

Ok, from that, does anybody have any knowledge or experience?
