Cold Spot Ancistrus

can any one tell me anything about these fish?

Are they good algae eaters in your experience?

Are they hardy fish?

I have major problem algae problems in both my 25 and 20 gallon tanks.

I have a common pleco in my 35 but he is getting tooooo big and I can't find him a new home so i don't want to get another common.

Spotted Chaetostoma, you mean? I've never heard of a Cold Spot Ancistrus.

Anyway, both Ancistrus and Chaetostoma genera are generally hardy and include algae-eating members. If anything, if you get one it shouldn't die easily on ya. I'm not really sure what fish you're talking about since I've never heard of them, though...

And if things get desperate, get that algae scrubber. My gosh, you have a 20 gallon tank, not a 55 or 125. LoL, just pulling your leg.

I have algae scrubbers, really and truly i just want more fish!!!
