I saw a few in my LFS the other day and want to get one or two, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding much information on them... so I hope someone has some personal experience with them

Hardy, will eat anything, and grows about 18". Not to be trusted with small fish and should eventually be put in a big tank. I have one, but it's going back to the LFS since it always eats all the food up before my Royal Plec can get to it.:%) -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian.

bayara Hobbyist Posts: 139 Kudos: 117 Votes: 14 Registered: 30-Aug-2004	thanks! it'll be going into my 'big fish' tank (with my arowana) so there won't be anything small enough to fit into it's mouth there... and it will eventually be in a huge tank - big enough to support the arowana anyway. I dont' have any bottom feeders in there (in fact... i don't have anything else in there...). Needed something to clean up but wanted something new and different!
