My LFS finally got in some Corydoras similis (my favorite species) last Tuesday, and I just bought a group of six of them today. They are beautiful, but very small. I waited a while to get them to make sure they were healthy (not a single one died in the whole shipment). Unfortunately, a few days ago when we got some more fish in, somebody put some Bolivian rams in with these little guys, and the corys got some of their fins nipped off (as you can see in the below pictures). When I went there today, the corys were forced to hide in the corners of the tank to hide from the rams.

Luckly, now that they are in my tank, they are very active and hungry. Here are some pictures of them... The second one is one of them that got picked on the most at the store.

Wow! I only paid 3 bucks for my bronze cories. How much do pandas usually sell for?

It depends on the store, but I've noticed the average for pandas is about $3-4.

Geez, you have a really nice lfs! You get access to Bolivian rams, super-large common BNs, hard to find Corydoras species, and other neat stuff! I bet that they even have some non-splendens Brochis there, which I've never even seen outside of pictures. Nice similis, I hope they heal up for you.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

Really Beautiful Corydoras. The fins will grow back & soon you'll have them in a very good condition.
