Hi all
I posted here http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/threads/36715.1.htm?5#
but got my fish mixed up. Its actually a Synodontis eupterus he wants to swap, not a pleco

A friend of mine has two Synodontis eupterus and wants to get rid of one (offered me a swap for some of my SAEs)
Im reading and surfing info on these fellows at the moment. He /she is medium id say 200mm+ They can get big which is not a problem for my 5ft community tank but I am concerned about its effect on my other catfish and surroundings. I hope to have a medium planted tank. Would they destroy the plants which havent really got a foothold yet?
I have mostly rocks in while I await the driftwood. I have some juvenile bristlenose(3), Khulis and Clowns. I dont think the Pleco would bother the larger Angels dwarf gouramis and tetras too much?

Im also interested in a whiptail in the long run.

I read that they can be very territorial adn most of my inmates are pretty passive.

What are your thoughts. He be willoing to let me trial it for a bit and gove back if things go bad.
