![]() | Tank Dilemma |
ClaireH![]() Fingerling Posts: 32 Kudos: 23 Votes: 0 Registered: 18-Apr-2005 ![]() ![]() | Hi everyone, I have just lost 2 cories so im down to 4 now, I also have 4 clown loaches. At first they were fine the cories were actually pushing the clown loaches out the way for the food, but now that the clowns have become more boisterous, I cant help feeling sorry for the cories. The clowns have a good home to go to if I decide to let them go and stock loads more cories, would this bring the cories I have now out of their shells a bit more so to speak? I really want some pandas they are really cute. Would that be a good move to rehome the clowns?Would I need more tank mates for the cories? I have 5 neon rainbows at the moment and they seem to be fine. I dont want to rehome my clowns but if they will all be happier then I guess its the best option. Thanks Claire Last edited by ClaireH at 24-Apr-2005 12:33 |

Unless you've got a 125g or more tank I wouldn't keep them. I know there's some argument over their size but in the wild these guys can go over a foot in length. The big clown loaches in the store are just little babies. Cories love company and tend to be more active the more you have. |

How do corie tanks get on? will the tank need some more middle dwellers to even things out or are the rainbows fine? I think ill get some more adolfoi and some pandas when the time comes. |

How big is your tank? http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.deathbydyeing.org/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
