OK Leslie was worried about her 2 babies that I fishnapped, well she may very well end up with them back...

Her sweet and innocent little darling last night decided that the Hikari Algae Wafer he had wasn't enough, he had to go and pick a fight with one of my teeny, tiny, starving Corydora Hasbrosus...I mean he is so thin you can see his little ribs, and he had finally gotten just the tiniest Hikari Algae Wafer for himselfbecause everyone who knows me, knows I never feed my animalsthat is why they are all wasting away

Well, the fight ensued when piggy decided that he needed 2 Hikari Wafers, and the Dainty didn't want to let go of ittalk about a tug-a-warWell, he finally got it away and ended up flipping on his back when the poor little Daintyfinally passed out in exhaustion...Sad to say all I could do was sit there and laugh...

So Leslie, here is one of your piggy wiggies, the others were fighting metaes for theirs

...which is why ancistrus sp. are not recommended for fry tanks of other bottom feeding species. They are highly robust feeders and, as you've experienced, slightly aggressive during this period of time. If the cory is showing signs of starvation, separate him in either a floating fry basin or an entirely new tank.

*whimpers* Looks like my poor, deceased Daffy Dilly. I miss my baby BN. *sniffles*

Good luck with your lil guys... and I hope your dainty gets enough food with those piggies in the tank!

Do what I do with the Pandas and the Otocinclus in the Panda Fun Palace™.

I break up the Hikari tablets into pieces, then place several pieces in different locations in the aquarium using a spare piece of UGF uplift tube, to make sure that everyone gets a share.

Mind you, when the Pandas and the Otocinclus start playing 'push hockey' with the pieces, even the best laid plans can go awry

Here is an example of the fun and games that ensues when the Hikari wafer bits hit the gravel

Ok folkssorry if I made people think that I starve my animals

Anyone who knows me should know better...Everyone definately gets their fair share of food in the tank, and everyone is simply plump and happy. After the BN took the other algae wafer the little dainty immediately found another, and was content...

Again, sorry for those that were worried...apparently my sense of humor is seriously lacking...heidi
