| | There's a baby Panda in my tank!! |

Yesterday while doing my daily algae harvest I saw a baby Panda in my tank. I knew the Pandas were happy with the tank but I had no idea they spawned. The little on is about a quarter of an inch. I've only seen the one, but there may be more. I don't have another tank so I'll leave it in there. Does anyone know what I should do special? I was planning on just letting it be. I first spotted it while it was feeding with the adult Pandas. Any idea how fast they grow and at what stage they'll be safe in the tank? Thanks Eric |

What are the other tank mates?. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

I've found that my me I'd say that as long as you have plenty of room for the little guy/gal to hide and they have plenty to eat then you will be fine At a quarter of an inch he is probably about a month old or so. He's been staying to one side of the tank in some plants near the Panda's 'feeding area' I only waw him twice yesterday and twice today. Yesterday he ws feeding off the bottom. I hope he survives, but I'm not sure what I can do for him. Eric |
