Wouldnt go with the dandylion leaves could be nasty, celery is ok I think, he will love cucumber, I can also recomend, peas and broccoli (no frozen) and you must blanch them all first(that is dunk em in boiling water for a second or two and serve) and its all good

zuchinni also gets wolfed down by them, and your other fish. If you want to target your plec, feed after lights out and be sure to take any leftovers out after 12 hours to prevent foulin' of the tank.

I've fed the following all raw unless otherwise noted: zuchinni, cucumber, broccoli stem, lightly steamed asparagus, romaine lettuce, steamed green bean, slice of yukon gold potato or sweet potato, even a thin slice of tomato now and then. They love it all. I remove the seeds to keep my filter from getting clogged up. Anything still there after a day or so is pulled out and replaced with fresh. I also feed them real driftwood and algae wafers. The juvies scarf up baby brine shrimp like candy.

I've been told they enjoy melon too. I popped a tiny circle slice of baby banana in there the other day, but the endlers were all over it - not sure the brislenose ever got a chance at it. When I looked for it later, it was gone.
