If you want to target your plec, feed after lights out and be sure to take any leftovers out after 12 hours to prevent foulin' of the tank. |

heaven2![]() Mega Fish Posts: 1065 Votes: 0 Registered: 10-Jun-2002 ![]() | I've fed the following all raw unless otherwise noted: zuchinni, cucumber, broccoli stem, lightly steamed asparagus, romaine lettuce, steamed green bean, slice of yukon gold potato or sweet potato, even a thin slice of tomato now and then. They love it all. I remove the seeds to keep my filter from getting clogged up. Anything still there after a day or so is pulled out and replaced with fresh. I also feed them real driftwood and algae wafers. The juvies scarf up baby brine shrimp like candy. I've been told they enjoy melon too. I popped a tiny circle slice of baby banana in there the other day, but the endlers were all over it - not sure the brislenose ever got a chance at it. When I looked for it later, it was gone. |
