I have 3 Leopard corys in my 29 gallon and they are acting a bit strange. They want nothing to do with each other. Ocassionally 2 of them might be seen swimming together but other than that they are usually pretty spread out. They are also staying at about the mid level of the tank. They are not eating off the bottom very much...if at all. What is going on with them?

Sounds like they might just want more company. Corydoras leopardus is not particularly known for being less social than other types, so the behavior is probably due to the fact that you only have three. Your leopards would benefit if more of them were added to the tank. They may not often form a shoal encompassing all of the leopards, but they should at least stick together in small groups most of the time.

6 will be better than 3, but with Corydoras, the more you'll have, the merrier they'll be.
