i have two pepper corys which were handed to me by a friend they are both in my 15g along with a dwarf gourami, platie fry and 6 rasbora.

they seem to chase the other fish- and don't really hind even when messing in the tank. the corys in my 40g always hind when somebody passes the tank?

why are the two on their own not so whimpy??
Why do they chase the other fish?

the only options open to me are take them to LFS - don't really want to - risking them getting a bad home.
second option is to put them with my 9 other corys in my already full 40g, untill i upgrade the 15g which i am inteading to do.
last option leave it as is??

40g is heavily filtered with 304 canisiter filter and i do 40% water change weekly.

cheers shekoi

The more cories in the tank, even if they are not all of the same species, the better. Cories tend to be very social little fish, and love hanging out with other cories. If you moved the two in with the other cories, they would probably be a lot happier.

And no, your cories aren't being aggressive or weird. As previously stated, they are just playing with the other fish. If you will notice, they don't nip the other fish at all. The cories are either extra lonely or extra playful, and are treating all of their tankmates as friends.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

It's better to add some more Peppered Corydoras. They like to stay in schools & you'll see a difference in their behaviour.
