I was able to get hold of some L#s for quite cheap. They are in quaritine now at my place and cant wait for them to come out to go into their new home. Can you guess what these are?

The L14s are too small and they keep hidding so they are too hard to take pics.

Actually, 12" long is quite large in my opinion. Beautiful fish though and worth a good bit of money, especially when full grown...

mate you much be rich

but to say it's cheap or not it's quite hard....as you might know it already these prices are "made up" by shops or "dealers" that get hold of them.... their cost price can be as low as like $20 AUD for the fish, just that they need to take the risk of being put in jail for 6 months and get a $10K fine

but anyway, they are rare and they do worth that much if you like them that much

Beautiful plecos. They remind me of the "Beacon Pleco" which is what I would have said they were! But those guys are tankbusters.
Planetcatfish says they only get 9.6 inches at maturity, females possibly slightly larger.
Do you plan to breed them?
They are lovely.

They are most definitely P. leopardus, which no longer has an L number. They grow much larger than 9"--bordering on 12"

Now tell me, arent these the same ones you are planning to add to that 27000 gallon pool tank of yours. What other fish are you putting in with these plecs?
