![]() | Would this be overstocked? |
Deb2fish![]() Fingerling Posts: 20 Kudos: 18 Votes: 0 Registered: 05-Jan-2005 ![]() ![]() | I have a 65g tank. The current inhabitants are: 12 red-tailed rasbora 1 RTBS 6 serpae tetra 5 bleeding hearts 6 zebra loaches I would like to get something to control the algae and was thinking of a Bristlenose catfish. Would I be overstocked if I was to add one. I know I am at my limit now. My filter is an Eheim 2217. Thanks. |

Oto's are smaller & they do an excellent job aswell. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

Otos like friends, so essentially with either choice you'd end up with approximately the same amount of waste. Keep up with tank maintenance and you should be fine. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |
