Yoyos reach about 4 inches, and should be kept in groups of 3 or more, as with any loach. Also, other loaches that love snails: Queen Loaches (6 inches) Angelicus Loaches (3 inches) Zebra Loaches (4-5 inches) Come Play Yahtzee With Me! http://games.atari.com Http://www.myleague.com/yahtgames |

I don't have any small snails in my 55g though. I guess they decided to let the bigger ramshorn snails live. ![]() I suggest a group of atleast 3, like Sneaky said. The more you have the more you'll see them interact. Mine chase each other all the time...silly loaches. ![]() |

They've also killed 2" applesnails before. No idea why yours would leave them alone. Occasionally yoyos are sold under other names like pakistani or reticulated. Really most any botia species of which there are dozens will eat snails. |

I think loaches dream of snail infested tanks, I know I do. I go begging all over the city for pest aquarium snails, just got a bunch of them from a fellow aquarist for my clowns. *Yummy* |
