A fairly pricey loach. Gets to 3-4ish". Peaceful. Would probably wager 20-30 gallons for a pair of adults. Will, like most loaches, eat just about anything.

I have two of these little guys in a 29 gallon tank. They definitely like the company of each other and will constantly follow each other around. I would definitley have alot more of them if they weren't so pricey. THey are super peaceful and are pretty content just to play around the tank with eachother, ignoring their tankmates. If you do get them, watch them for ich at first. Mine had some sort of disease that made them itch and I have still not been able to get rid of whatever it is. Good luck with these guys...they are definitely a great addition to any community tank.
