i did have a bristle nose female in there last week but my mum fogot to put alge wafers in the tank when i was on hoiaday and he died in my tank i have neons teras flame neons clowns loaches 2 pardise fish m\f lots of drift wood

You're lucky, my paradise fish killed 6 of my neons. You could pretty much put in any pleco that doesnt exceed 8 inches. Refer to the bottom feeder section of the site to look up one you like. Remember though, some of them are expensive.

well a lot of Plecs are illegal in Aus so the common ones for us are very expensive over there, i fink bristlenose can be about $30 or something

So that they don't get released into the wild and bump off native species. That's the way I understand it, and I know that places like Hawaii have such restrictions as well. Maybe not for plecos (as different locales will outlaw different fish/plants), but restrictions on imported species.
