As adults they are about three feet long, and probably won't breed until they're one foot long. Also, I do believe they dig a pit in the gravel to lay their eggs in, rather than just scattering them like many other fish do. I'm not sure as to the color, but most fish eggs are whitish, or at least light-colored. |

My one cat always hangs in there and now seems all wacho like she is lookin for somethin she lost. |

How big are your cats? If the eggs are fuzzy, they're probably fungused and should be discarded since they're not going to develop.
