I will buy a different type of Anti Fungus liquid & will try to breed them again next week. I also had an airstone in there.

Congratulations for your little Corydoras & goodluck with them.

I think mine got fungused for the 2nd time & i must think for another method in hatching the eggs.

i got them from walmart no less! i also gathered up 3 of the 6 corys that were in the tank, there were like 3 different spots that had about 2-3 dozen eggs each!

the girl got me the eggs using my pet advantage card scarping them off and settign them in the bag with the adults ( i told her it would be ok and it was)

they are now in a 1 gallon with a bubbler and fungus stuff

i cant wait till they hatch!

also in another tank the bronze corys also spawned!!!

The sapwning fish actually intentionally laid them out of the water, as said species is known to do, along with other species such as duplicareus (which seems to be most notorious for this kind of behavior), melini, and several others.

I have seen at least one Internet report which indicated a large rise in the egg hatch rate from their Corydoras when the breeder stopped exposing the eggs to air. Since cory eggs are not meant to be removed from the water, it makes sense to assume that anything more than brief contact with the air could be detrimental.

I've had panda eggs that were laid clear out of the water and still hatched.

Did the eggs come into contact with atmospheric air at any time? If so, there is a greatly reduced chance that they will hatch.
