i just got a new Albino Bristlenose Pleco from my lfs he is only about half an inch how long will it be before he gets to the full 5 inches?

and being so little should i worry about him being picked on?

Are you sure he's a half an inch long? That would mean he's not even off his yolk sac yet.

well it was kinda by eye i dont have the best eye for measurement but when he was against the tank i measured him at an inch and abit

If your tank has a gnarly piece of driftwood, the bn will surely find a hidey-hole. Make sure there are hiding places in your tank. It will mostly be active at night, and may seem like it has disappeared for a long time. I much prefer the albino BNs when compared to a normal one..that is just my preference.
