I would say dump the BGK: they grow too large for most sensible aquarists. Peacocks don't need much room. I reckon a lone indivdual could be kept ALONE in a forty or thrity long--whichever one has a slightly larger footprint than the twenty long. They only grow to 13" ish and spend much of their time crammed in large holes. Spinies, like ropefish, need to have an enclosure in which to completely cover their bodies
