Your tank is already full. I wouldn't do just a cory or two because they're much happier in groups of at least 6. Try feeding your fish less; instead of trying to fix the problem after the food has dropped to the bottom, fix the problem before by not giving them as much food so it doesn't fall to the bottom. How many times do you feed your fish in a day? If you're just doing once daily, try feeding smaller portions twice daily.

Good luck!

Take a fish or 2 back to the LFS and trade for a rubber lip pleco.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think a rubber lip pleco would solve the problem as they mainly eat algea and veggies just like the bristle nose.

They eat less algae than they are reputed to. If you notice a significant reduction in algae production following introduction, it probably isn't due to the chaestoma. Also, be forewarned that thompsoni and millesi both grow past 4"--in layman's terms, too large for a ten gallon.

If you're seeing food at the bottom & cannot add a school of Corydoras, because your allready stocked, just reduce your feeding & you should solve the problem.

Feed less, and don't break it up as small, this should help quite a bit...if you still aren't happy, try getting a larger tank (29+ gallons), add the fish you have and then a small school of corries (6-8)...

If you overfilter, you shouldn't have a problem. Livebearers aren't messy fish anyways.

Im really surprised your BN pleco isnt cleaning up the excess food. Mine eats anything that touches the gravel.
For your tank, I would highly reccomend the dwarf chain loach, Botia Sidthimunki, you could put a school of 6 in there, or you could put in a school of 6 dainty/pygmy corys.
