There are litterally thousands of different species of bottom feeders, belonging to many different families and orders. Could you be a bit more descripive of your fish? Is it a cory, pleco, or some other catfish? Is it a loach? I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

But in my experience, I have kept corydoras with guppy fry with no noticeable losses. Just be sure the bottom feeder is getting enough to eat.
