Today i was at the lfs to get a bn and I saw they but they called them madusa plecos which i never heard them called that before!? And about how much do they usually run in price, im thinking they made a mistake when i was checkin out. They charged me 31 dollars! thanks for any responses. -Jim |

These guys grow larger than the average bristlenose, topping out at six to seven inches. If you did indeed buy a true medusa plec, then the price sounds about right. They aren't that common, and are usually priced in the same range as other non-common plecos. Your money was well-spent, in my opinion. |
