Five or six inches of waste-manufacturing pleco is too much for a twenty gallon tank, though a small butterfly would be okay in there for the short term. |

I reckon a 5 inch fpleco could be pretty happy in a twenty long, but not with a school of messy fish such as barbs AND another loricariid (specifically the BN).
