i haven't had clown loaches in years. n.e way i have three ( blue body loaches with orange fins) i don't know what they were called but i have had them for about 7 years and i was wondering can i add any clown loaches to the tank? other fish- 5 black ghost, like 7 parrots.

i are assume you are talking about blue boitas.

I HAVE in fact seen pictures of these fish togerther, but blue biotas are really agressive, i know that.

Usually fish that are agressive attack fish that look like it, and these 2 fish look very similar.

Not sure on this one.

I once tried keeping the blue loaches with clowns; they didn't do very well together. The Blue loaches were bigger in size that my clowns and very aggressive in nature. Also they are very nocturnal in their behavior and will take over the clown loaches territory.

I bought me a blue botia, and in the beginning, he was nice to the clowns, but later on, he took over their cave and was fighting with them. I dont think the two loaches would go together. I had to return him in less than 12 hours coz he was causing havoc in the tank.
