The only thing I can think of is at least one hiding place. Kuhli loaches like to have a place to go during the day (they are nocturnal) and when they are stressed. Yes, three is a good number for them. They like to have company, so no less than three is fine. More would be better though... ![]() |

Brybenn![]() Mega Fish Posts: 1217 Kudos: 1173 Votes: 1 Registered: 02-Mar-2003 ![]() | 3 khulies r fine in that tank the cichlids not really good in such a small tank they will kill each other khulies can b kept wit cichlids but make sure the khulies are adults n the cichlids r juvies then u wont have any probs they r noctural they do prefer smooth sandy bottoms they will hide so if u dont see them for a few days jsut check the filture intake if there not there there prolly fine the more u have the braver they r n they will venture out more there great lil guys ive treid to breed them with no success at hatching there eggs |

My larger trio play this tag game winding themselves up and down an air line, I've seen it go on for over an hour. They like to rest together and look like some sort of fish-spaghetti.
