Now I dont know when this happened but is it anything to worry about. It looks fine will it grow back should i treat the water with anything? I have danios with them but i dont notice any picking well sometimes they might when they are snooping around the algae dics but i dont think they did it well maybe maybe not. |

Are there any aggressive fish in the tank? If the whole fin is gone, and that includes the spine as well as the soft rays, then it is most likely not going to grow back. It will heal, however, as long as the fish remains in otherwise good condition. If the fish appears to be healing fine, then I wouldn't worry about adding any meds to the water. If you see something bad though, such as redness, fuzziness, or growths, then you should add a wide-range antibiotic such as Maracyn Plus. ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |
