![]() | digging clown loaches |
Dolf![]() Enthusiast Posts: 203 Kudos: 180 Votes: 46 Registered: 09-May-2004 ![]() ![]() | Has anyone else seen their clown loaches digging? I've had 4 of them for about a year now. Lately on occasion, looking in the tank I could find only 3. So I stand and stare and suddenly out pops the missing loach from under the lace rock. Now I know they like to root around in the gravel for tidbits, but I've never heard of them digging caves. |

I don't think they are doing it to hide. They seem to be well adjusted, or as I like to say "fat and happy". The bottom of the tank is covered with fine gravel that the loaches share with eartheaters. They get along well and can ofter be seen snuffling around the bottom together. |
