what should i be feeding my clowns?? my tank was at one stage heavily infested with live blood worms, and for the past like 2 months they, i think, have survived on these, but they have now eaten out the population. i have been feeding my other fish flakes, occasssionally peas, and my BNs algae tablet things. will my clowns eat them or should i buy more bloodworms on a constant basis?

Mine will happily eat shrimp pellets, algae wafers, even flakes. I use bloodworms (frozen) as a treat.

mine love the tetra sinking pellets too. whatever you feed them, don't forget the meat in their diet. CL's are primarily meat eaters and need meat to increase their size and to keep them healthy. don't worry if meat is all they eat as this is normal. try feeding them lettuce leaves or peas every now and again but the meat in dried staple foods is the most important, however, the occasional vegetable does keep them healthy if you're expecting to keep your CL's for a long time

good luck!
