Feeding after lights out is probably your best bet. Try to feed in the same spot every night, preferably away from the problem fish if at all possible. You could try feeding all the other fish in one area of the tank, and as they are eating drop the pellets/wafers for the cories in another area. |

The greedy fish quickly swims to the hand entered in first. Then he puts the other hand in while the greedy fish are at the pervious hand. Food from both hands fall to the bottom for the bottom feeders, while the greedy fish are at the top. Doing this he has trained fish like Albino Rainbow shark, tiger barbs, clown loaches, glass catfish, gouramis, mollys of cause, even guppys, to eat out of his hands. In this way the pellets will reach the bottom & your Corydoras can eat in peace. ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

The best thing to do is to, wait until you turn your lights off, and break the pellets up into small bits, this way the pellets are easyier for the Corys to eat, instead of having a big chunk to eat and then each Cory will be able to have its own piece without crowding when they eat. Also any food that you feed your other fish, and they do not eat will fall to the bottom and your corys will also eat that for you as well. I hope this helps you with your problem ! ![]() |

Now I use a piece of plastic tubing so the pellets make it to the bottom. I place the tube in between the lava rock and driftwood so that the pellets are kind of hidden when they reach the bottom. While the pellets are sinking I feed flakes on top of the water. Now, when the fish see the tube they come to the top because they know the flakes are coming. The tetras still get to the pellets occasionally, so I started feeding an extra pellet or two, so when the tetras end up with a pellet, there are still some left for the cories. Hope this helps.
