And what sort of plants/decor do they prefer? <Vet in Training> Blog under development: http://www.nearlydrferox.blogging4life.com/ |

Regular dark tan gravel substrate with several large riverstones, huge pieces of driftwood and rocky caves, with anubias planted throughout. I'd wager maybe a 30-40 gallon tank for a group of six. Maybe a trio of congo tetras to go with them as well. Wow, now you've got me in the mood to set up a new tank. ![]() Last edited by Cup_of_Lifenoodles at 23-Nov-2004 01:50 |

I'd have some floating plants on top to keep the light down and maybe some overhangs. Also i'd have dark gravel with the odd large riverstone and lots of pieces of driftwood with anubias attached to it (gotta go with the african theme ![]() ![]() cfd ![]() Last edited by catfish_dude at 23-Nov-2004 14:47 -------------------------- Billy was a scientist, Billy is no more. You can then use the empty space for feeding bloodworm etc. I would then also add a nice group of cichlids like 4-6 Keyhole cichlids and then also a school of Conga Tetras, maybe around 10. I dunno if that would be overstocked but it would be quite cool. Maybe if you had space add 2-4 Featherfins and see what they are like in a group? |
