You have quite a fish there; they've only recently been discovered in a cave system underneath the Amazon! Many men perished to bring this fish back to the civilized world, for a discovery of such great importance has not been made in the past century! Nah, just pulling your leg. It resembles an Ancistrus to me, but then again it still looks common-plecoish. I can't tell for sure from those pics. What did you purchase it as? And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

I'm like omg this is amazing. and then Anways i bought it as a common pleco from petco so I wasnt sure if they marked it wrong. It looked different from most commons ive seen because of the orangish markings so i wasnt sure.

Cup_of_Lifenoodles Fish Guru Posts: 2755 Kudos: 1957 Votes: 30 Registered: 09-Sep-2004	Remember though, that petco purchses all of it's regularly obtainable shipments from fish farms---thusly species contamination is not exactly a threat.
