 | in need of farlowella expertise |
gartenzwerfe  Big Fish Mrs. Racso To Be Posts: 375 Kudos: 628 Votes: 199 Registered: 20-Mar-2004   | Here's my farlowella:  as you can see, he's darn near 9 inches long!  And another view with a ruler...  His head...  and his tail. My guess is, judging by size, he's a Farlowella vittata. Any input? Thanks. |

If you could get a close look at his "snout" tip, if it has little whiskers on it, its a male, if it is smooth with no hairs, its a female. I have a female, and judging by yours, males must grow larger, or yours is older. Mine is about 7 inches but very plump. Nice looking fish Gartzenwerfe!
