I have a few that look just like that and were told they were Peckoltia Vittata which really didn't look right.

Peckoltia vittata used to be the species sold as "Clown Pleco", but they have since been replaced. Hence, you will sometimes here dealers refer to Panaque maccus as Peckoltia vittata.

alot them were brought into Aus recently. under clown plec but are actually L104

Yeah. From what I've gathered, Aus has been getting in several panaqolus/peckoltia species as misidentified L-168. The actual zonancistrus in question is, oddly enough, still quite rare. Hopefully, you'll get lucky and one of these shipments will contain L-204, the "plec to get" down under, as of now.

Apparently they plan to bring l#'s that look similar to L104's under L104...plus with L104 off the illegal list it wont be long before some of the other nice looking dwarf species are avaible at decent prices
