Hi all,
Do you know if I can feed newly hatched brine shrimp to my 2 weeks old Albino cory fry?
How old can they start to have the shrimp? Currently i've been feeding liquid food and fry flakes to them. But everyday there seem to be more fry dying. I do 30% water change each day on a container with airstone. The container is floating on my 55g tank. What did I do wrong?

Please advise.

thanks

Yes the fry will be able to eat them, its alittle tough for them to get them all though ( since the BBS don't just sink they swim around the tank)but the BBS will die off and they will eat them as they die off.

Most egglayer fry can eat newly hatched brine shrimp when they become freeswimming, and cory fry are born larger than your average egglayer fry, IME, so you could have started earlier if you wanted to do so.

micro worms have been succesful for me. they live alot longer then brine shrimp, and sink to the bottom and get eatten readily, dont cloud the water and easy to culture in large amounts for daily feedings. are small anuff for even the smallest frys. vinigar eel are great too but they swim around alot but very good for free swimming fry like baby rainbows but i gave up on cultureing them
