I added 2 of the small plecos to the 29g when I got them and they are having trouble competing for food against the yoyo loaches. The 3 in the 90g are 3 times the size of the ones in the 29g. Can I move any to the 90g or is that too many plecos in 1 tank? There's also some snails, 2 rainbowshrimp, and 2 schools of small cories in the bottom area of the 90g. I think some bristlenose would compete much better against the yoyos. The little leopard plecs are quite shy and run away from the yoyos and sometimes even the cories. |

I'm willin to bet none are good algea eaters (my royal is not good), so keep the snails. Remember bigger tanks = quicker growth in most cases. I have 5 in my 125 and 3 are good at algea. Make sure you have enough driftwood as the Royal likes it. Not sure bout the L-134's, but I'm guessin yes. BTW yes on the BN in the 29. They get the food if they want it. Some Loaches are boisterous, but the BN's are tough and not shy when it comes to food. Last edited by stallion81 at 08-Sep-2005 18:21 |
