No, there isn't a lot about them, but I suspect that they're like most plecos. Feed algae wafer and supplement with fresh veggies every now and then. Also keep the water conditions good with a little bit of current doing good for them.

Treat them as you would any other ancistrus sp.

EDIT: Wait, peppermint pleco as in parancistrus sp? Or the peppermint bristlenose (Ancistrus dolichopterus).

Okay, in that case, I can really go into detail, as I've had a LOT of personal experience with this fish. Firstly, it is fairly robust and intolerant. Thusly, other bottom feeders may be shoved around a bit. It's not a big fan of alage, though occasional vegetable treats such as heart of romaine are always welcome. Most of it's diet should consist of fish meal wafers (one of my favorites is hikari algae tablets), and your favorite pellet. They seem to be at home in most strengths of current. They also like, as with most loricariids, a tight nook to call home; perferrably something along the lines of a pvc pipe.

Nope, it should be okay with your cories. The 'grumpy' (for lack of a better word) and intolerant plecos tend to focus their ire on other Loricariids and larger catfish. A peppermint pleco would probably not see cories as a threat, especially if they were on the small side and mild-mannered.

Does the "aquascaping" you mentioned involve plants? If so, just remember to anchor them down well. Plecos with some semblance of size are notorious for knocking plants loose, so try to save yourself some headaches later.

Although they're not peppermints, my two mid sized plecs love the cories and the cories don't mind them. I often see the cories sitting on top of one of the plecs
