I think this is a common pleco..but how big can he get..12"?
My tank is 74g..if he gets to big i will trade him later.

it could grow over 12 inches they are very big fish.

But i dont think its that one,i paid 4us$ for my pleco.

Sorry, liveaquaria is wrong on this one. The para pleco is definitely of the genus peckoltia. I was referring to H. plecostomus or punctatus, the outdated version of the "common" pleco, as most exports of them are no longer from Venezuela (or at least not as many). You're much more likely to run into p. pardalis sold as the common pleco.
