It appears to be very stressed out, but I would have to say Botia hymenophysa, Botia reversa, or Botia robusta.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

Try visiting the Loaches website ... everything for the Loach fan is there, including species identification ...

The care of most Botias is pretty much the same. You can just read the care info for another species, and then just adjust it for size. Your loaches will probably grow somewhere between 6-9" in length, depending on which species they are.

Looks like a tigger loach. Stressed as stated before. 6-8". Treat like your CL's, though I donot know if they are "schoaling".

I had some tiger loaches just like those, its one of the rare occasions ive ever taken a fish back, they proved to be the most incredible fin nippers. I put them in a huge tank, loads of space and cover and in 48 hours they started clicking, infighting and they nipped 14 other fish. I was a bit surprised to say the least.

Judging by the extreme territoriality I experienced with them, id say they live in loose groups, but not a true shoaling fish. They eat snails though, which is handy.
