	purple moth catfish...

I suspect it's a name that is store invented, meaning the fish store/wherever you saw them at came up with this name. Sometimes they do this because they don't know what they have, other times, it's because they want the fish to sound cooler, so people will be more likely to buy stuff. And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."
