Surprisingly most fish like the salt content and do well in it. They get strong coloring, grow nicely, and don't usualy seem to have problems. But when I change water or the salt level goes down once they got used to it some of them would ICK disease or start acting weird. Seems like salt is very healthy and easy to adopt to as long as its not too much. Take your time adopting the little eater to salt and don't be afraid to experiment. |

They tend to be hardy fish, especially as they age and get closer to their twelve-inch maximum size. Just be sure that you have the room for a fully-grown and temperamental CAE! |
