i seen in a petsmart they had one sargeant major loach in their "discontinued" tank. Is this the same as a yoyo loach? if not does anyone know how big it gets if its not a yoyo?

I think it is a Botia rostrata. Ladder loach or sometimes Twin Banded or Sergeant Major loach. They get about 2-3 inches long. From what I read, they appear to be sensitive to chemicals and medications. It's recommended they be kept in groups of 5 or more.

They are incredibly accomplished snailers too -- I bought 5 over a month ago and they completely destroyed the 20 or so snails I had in less than 2 days. Otherwise, they seem like very good fish, and in my menagerie community of tetras and corys, I like that they do not get too big.
